The book On Justice is a collaboration between Gonzaga Emeritus Law Professor John Maurice and Gonzaga Emerita Art Professor Mary Farrell. A limited, boxed, and signed edition of 250 prints was published in 2006 by Hulett Printing in Spokane. The book began as a series of 13 essays on justice written by John Maurice first published in the Gonzaga Law Review.  This important topic defines how, in a just society, the rights of the individual are balanced with the rights of the society.

John had a vision of this essay beautifully printed with a series of 13 intaglio prints prefacing each chapter. Mary and John began to work on their collaboration several years ago with many discussions over coffee and scones. In addition to the book, there is also a suite of the 13 original etchings printed in an edition of 30 each.
